We are a worldwide network of business and professional men who are committed to one purpose: To present Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to business and professional men, and to develop Christian business and professional men to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Established in 1930 by a small group of businessmen, who shared the desire to communicate the eternal, lifesaving message of Jesus Christ to others, CBMC continues to evangelize and disciple today's business and professional community.

The foundation of the CBMC process is prayer. It is the central focus of small group meetings which also offer time-tested strategies for empowering men to be effective witnesses for Christ. Teaming together with like-minded men, they learn how to develop committed one-on-one relationships with non-Christians. Through these relationships and prayer, CBMC men lead their uncommitted friends and associates through the evangelism process.

Once a man accepts Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord,
the discipleship process begins. Through one-on-one Bible study, utilizing CBMC's Operation Timothy, the new believer learns to experience a deep relationship with Christ and follow the example of Jesus by becoming a spiritual reproducer.

The weekly team meeting is usually where men begin to experience community and leadership develops. Men are together regularly in an environment that is safe, open, and transparent, and are able to spend time together praying, focusing on the scriptures, challenging and encouraging each other in the basics of their spiritual lives, and developing their personal ministry of evangelism and discipleship.

The CBMC process never ends. Throughout its seventy-year existence, we have seen generations after generations come to know Christ through personal evangelism, small group Bible studies, and outreach events.

CBMC provides the vision, to significantly influence a local business community for Christ; the strategy for effectively reaching business and professional men with the gospel; the training in the basic ministry skills of prayer, evangelism, discipleship, teaching, and leadership; and the opportunity to share the gospel personally and corporately. We provide tools designed to mentor business and professional men, and the support, reinforcement, and encouragement of being involved with a committed team. In a society that's constantly changing, CBMC offers a variety of innovative personal evangelism strategies that are in-depth, long-term, and relationship-based.
